Member Types & Dues

For each member, a portion of the membership fee is paid to the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA). The remainder of the fee is divided amongst the state board and respective local chapter. Along with the benefits provided by your state and local board, membership includes a subscription to Structure magazine and access to many useful resources from NCSEA.

Memberships run from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. There are two break downs listed below. The first is for the first year you join, the second is a breakdown of our annual dues for when you go through your first renewal period.

The first year you join: If you choose to join May 1st through December 31st you will pay the first price and your membership will expire on June 30th of the next year. If you choose to join January 1st through April 30th, you will pay the second price and your membership will expire the following June 30th, so roughly 1.5 years.
