Triangle Chapter

The Triangle Chapter includes members from Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and the surrounding areas. We currently hold meetings on the third Wednesday of each month, from 11:45 am until 1:00 pm, in the WestChase Three Building on Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh, NC. The meetings are occasionally held at other sites, including steel fabricators, masonry manufacturing plants, etc. The meetings typically include a brief overview of chapter news, lunch, and a one hour presentation, eligible for 1 PDH. These are free for members, and $10 for guests.

The Triangle Chapter is also very involved with the Civil Engineering Department at North Carolina State University. Our members volunteer in the structural engineering senior design class, visiting the class several times during each semester to mentor the students, answer their questions, assist with their design projects, and to serve as judges for their final project presentations.
