Dr. Mays at The Citadel in Charleston, SC is inviting all SEAofNC members and their friends/colleagues to a free 1 hour Zoom seminar on a new pile that is beginning to be used widely across the United States. Dr. Mays was involved in the development of a new hybrid pile called the "Fuller Pile" that takes the best of all the different pile types and combines them as one deep foundation element. It meets the requirements of the 2018 International Building Code and can resist lateral loads from buildings in high seismic areas with excellent ductility.
