Topic: Reinforcing the Future: Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete
In today’s market, the demand for a cost effective, innovative, and long-term high performing concrete floor and pavement is pushing structural engineers to provide an effective solution. Steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) is an excellent solution that is able to meet the demand and one that is changing the market in North America and all around the world. SFRC can replace traditional reinforcement in concrete by providing ductility and durability to an otherwise brittle concrete, resulting in a cost-effective, tough, high impact resistant and excellent performing industrial floor. This webinar will discuss the basics of SFRC, the different types of fibers used in different applications, and the incredible benefits of designing with SFRC.
